Soundcloud’s increasingly stingy copyright policy on DJ Mixes has been a pain to deal with not only for artists themselves but also for myself, as I try to have DJs we interview for the site put a mix together for us. I feel its a nice additional to the text and gives readers a way to preview their style. With Mixcloud being almost forgotten it seems like all hope was lost until online music streaming juggernaut, Spotify stepped in.
