#MelodyMonday – Molly Moore – “Natural Disaster” (Win & Woo Remix)
Molly Moore’s “Natural Disaster” showcases her beautiful and unique voice very well, backed up by a great melody it’s a song you’ll play on repeat for sure. In come our local home boys Win (Nicholas) and Woo (Austin). They take what is already a great song, speed up the lyrics by a noticeable yet subtle amount, add some heavier bass lines, and add their signature twist on the melody of the song to make it their own. The result, a summer hit that has been played over 310,000 times on their SoundCloud account in the first month of its release. Please give it a listen and enjoy.

#FourToTheFloorFriday – Spencer Rabin “Feeling Good”
Today’s song selection is a real treat. Local sixteen year old Spencer Hill is a self-described “composer/producer/guitarist” from Chicago. He reached out to us last week about us possibly helping him promote his music, so we took a listen.
WhySoChi.com is an EDM oriented website so we won’t post any of his guitar/piano driven tracks which are also good. Instead we’d like to introduce him to our audience with his electronic track titled “Feeling Good”. The track starts off with calm piano intro that builds up with addition of some snares and drums. It eventually grows into a powerful yet calm bass infused rhythm section making the song feel like a summer anthem. It comes back to the piano as needed to switch of tempo.
It sounds like Spencer is leaning more towards the Trance side of the EDM spectrum, but who am I to contain him with one genre qualification.
