Festival season has not even kicked off yet in Chicago or the Midwest but already wheels are in motion for one of next years most anticipated and what I consider one of the more unique music festivals Chicagoans could easily enjoy; none other than Electric Forest.
Having experienced the 2nd installment during the summer of 2012 and having many friends attend the even larger 2013 almost entirely camping festival i am happy to report that after scouting the internet information has come out that Electric Forest organizers have submitted an application for a mass gathering permit dating June 26-29 2014.
The Grant Township board – the powers that be behind granting this permit will meet January 7th to discuss this matter. Be sure to check back with us for an update once any information is released. This weekend DT&T is throwing their first music festival away from Boom Belgium. The Dutch will be hosting first ever TomorrowWold Music Festival in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. With an incredible lineup of top tier Djs and themes stages that will transform the 8,000 acre farmland into the Dreamville made famous In Belgium. Photos floating around the internet suggest that TomorrowWorld’s main stage will the story book themed one sued in TomorrowLand 2013. If you aren’t attending the festival don’t worry, TomorrowWorld will be streaming live through YouTube on Tomorrowland TV, from 7pm till 2am EST each night.
