Today  LUMBERJVCK releases his JVCKWOOD EP. The name could sound familiar as he was an entry into the EDC Chicago 2013 Discovery Project. His blend of dubstep with trap (seems to be a trend in 2014) has brought some success thus far; as his highly successful ‘Click Clvck’ became a staple in Skrillex’s sets on his Mothership Tour.

It’s no surprise that JVCKWOOD EP will be released via Excision’s label Rottun Recordings. This short but sweet EP is  filled with industrial, dark sounding melodies and sounds with heady bass lines similar to those you’d find in Excision’s hits. There is even a small similarity between Skrillex’s earlier albums and some of the sounds you’ll here fading in and out before the womp takes over again. If you’re looking for something new a fresh to rage too this release is for you.

David Vrong “Breaking Out” [New Release]

Yesterday, John Dahlbäck’s young Swedish prodigy David Vrong release his new track “Breaking Out” feat. Amaelle on none other than Ultra records. Though his Dj-ing beginnings are shrouded in mystery, his very accurately named new release shows that in 2014 he will be a force to be reckoned with. The production is very clean and the beautiful vocals fit perfectly with the mood of the track. His tech sound is familiar to Deadmau5 and the Trance style vocals create a great transition in between the base filled rhythm sections. Feast your ears to a great track I currently have on repeat.

MVTH “Good Power” [New Release]

mvth duo

Earlier today US based production duo MVTH released their new single “Good Power” on Borgore’s very own Buygore records. The track can best described as a marriage of hard style base lines and trap snare drums that will definitely get you out of your seat and get your body moving. After the intro, the tensions build as bass bombards your eardrums exchanging blows with that signature trap snare. The track turns especially interesting after the halfway mark when a great synth melody works its way to the forefront and shows off the duos technical skills.
